With this past year coming to a close, it’s time for new beginnings, new adventures, and a new you. Our trippy, psychedelic-infused holiday drinks are designed to help you ring in the new year with fresh perspectives and a little contemplation, all hopefully shared with your closest friends and loved ones. The drinks contain psilocybin, the active chemical in magic mushrooms, and were crafted with lower doses in mind (though this can be changed as desired). Enjoy responsibly, and Happy New Year from our team to you.

Spectacular Psychedelic Eggnog With Psilocybin

Psychedelic Eggnog With Psilocybin

Based on one of my grandmother’s favorite holiday recipes, this eggnog has delicious notes of cloves and cinnamon that pair with our special ingredient: psilocybin. The spices serve to help cover some of the earthy, mushroomy psilocybin flavors, while the sprinkle of pink salt and maple syrup adds a little extra depth of flavor. Like most eggnog recipes, this one does include an option to add bourbon. However, if making this with the intended dose, or a larger dose, of magic mushrooms, I suggest serving it sans alcohol, as it may dull the effects of the magic mushrooms, and mixing substances is never a great idea.

That said, if you do decide to include bourbon or another alcohol of your choice, do not exceed the recommended amount, and please drink responsibly.

Ingredients:

  • 3 grams of dried magic mushrooms, finely ground
  • 1 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt
  • 6 cups of whole milk (or a non-dairy alternative)
  • ½ teaspoon of ground nutmeg
  • 6 large eggs
  • ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Bourbon, rum, or brandy (optional, may affect potency)
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • Extra ground nutmeg or cinnamon for garnish (optional)
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • Whipped cream for serving
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions:

  • Prepare the Psilocybin Infusion: Gently heat 2 cups of milk in a small saucepan without boiling. Add the ground psilocybin mushrooms to the milk and simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes.
  • Strain the Mixture: Use a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to strain the mixture, removing the mushroom particles. Return the infused milk to the saucepan and add the remaining 4 cups of milk.
  • Mix Eggs and Sugar: In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until well combined and slightly frothy.
  • Temper the Eggs: Gradually add a small amount of the warm psilocybin-infused milk into the egg mixture, whisking constantly. This process, called tempering, prevents the eggs from curdling.
  • Combine and Cook: Pour the egg mixture back into the saucepan with the remaining milk. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens slightly and coats the back of a spoon. Do not let it boil.
  • Add Flavorings: Remove from heat. Stir in the heavy cream, vanilla extract, ground nutmeg, and ground cinnamon.
  • Chill: Transfer the eggnog to a pitcher or container. Cover and refrigerate until chilled, preferably for a few hours or overnight.

Enjoy your Magic Mushroom Eggnog!

Note: Adjust the amount of psilocybin or the number of servings according to your preferences and needs. Magic mushrooms are a potent psychedelic and should always be used responsibly and within legal guidelines. The half-gram serving in this version of the eggnog recipe should provide a light, uplifting sensation that does not have heavy visuals or a profoundly altered state of consciousness. However, this may only be the case for some: experience, body weight, and tolerance should be accounted for.

Psilocybin and Citrus New Year’s Punch

Psilocybin and Citrus New Years Punch

Nothing rings in the New Year like a fantastic gaggle of friends gathering around a communal punch bowl. This refreshing, mind-altering concoction will take your New Year’s punch game to new heights with bursts of bright citrus flavors and a little bubbly effervescence to stimulate your senses. The recommended dose of psilocybin is not too high, but may bring on some visual alterations, elevated mood, a body high, and changes to cognition. As with the eggnog recipe above, this one also includes the option to add alcohol if desired.

However, the alcohol-free version using sparkling grape juice provides a cleaner, less muddled experience that allows one to fully enjoy the subtlety of the mid-range dose of magic mushrooms.

Again, consume responsibly.

Servings: 12

Dosage: 1 grams of psilocybin per serving

Ingredients:

  • 12 grams of finely ground dried psilocybin mushrooms
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) of sparkling wine or champagne or one (750 ml) OR/preferably a bottle of sparkling white grape juice (optional)
  • 4 cups of orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups of grapefruit juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup of lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup of lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 grapefruit, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup of sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • 2 liters of sparkling water or club soda
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  • Prepare the Citrus Juices: You may use fresh citrus if desired, juice the oranges, grapefruits, lemons, and limes. However, an easier option uses store-bought citrus juices. Either way, you’ll need 4 cups of orange juice, 2 cups of grapefruit juice, and 1 cup each of lemon and lime juice. Mix the orange and grapefruit juice while setting aside the lemon and lime juice.
  • Add Sparkle: Just before serving, add sparkling water or club soda to the punch bowl. You can also add sparkling wine, champagne, or sparkling grape juice for an extra festive touch.
  • Prepare the Psilocybin Infusion: In a small bowl, combine the ground psilocybin with the lemon and lime juice. Allow the mixture to soak for at least 20 minutes, and up to one hour.
  • Garnish: Add the sliced oranges, lemons, limes, and grapefruits to the punch. Toss in a handful of ice cubes to keep it cool. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
  • Mix the Punch: Combine the orange and grapefruit juices in a large punch bowl. Using a very fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth, strain out of psilocybin and lemon juice, discarding the solids. Pour this into the punch bowl. Stir in the sugar until it is completely dissolved.
  • Serve: Ladle the punch into individual glasses, ensuring each serving gets some of the citrus slices.
  • Chill: Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour to chill and let the flavors meld.

Enjoy your Citrus New Year’s Punch!

Note: This punch is a fantastic way to ring in the New Year with a burst of citrus flavor and a groovy but not overwhelming psilocybin experience. The addition of sparkling wine or champagne is optional but can add effervescence to celebrate the occasion. However, as with the eggnog recipe, alcohol can reduce the efficacy of the psilocybin, and the two should be mixed with caution. Personally, I prefer the alcohol-free version. Due to the reaction of the psilocybin with the citrus juice, a good portion of the psilocybin will have been converted into psilocin, the fully active chemical that makes you trip. As a result, the initial come-up may be more intense, but the experience will be shorter overall.
